FRESHWATER PRO-GUIDES
If you’re planning a fishing trip to the Powell River area, I highly recommend a guided trip. Our guides will take the guess-work out of which lake to choose, which can be a problem as we have over 50 lakes to choose from. Of course once you choose a lake, knowing the hot-spots and techniques to use is probably the single most important reason for hiring a guide. This comes naturally to our guides since they have spent years fishing the local lakes.
We can arrange all kinds of fishing trips for anglers via float tubes, pontoon boats, canoes, tin boats, or fly-in, with the main goal being a safe and successful trip – and oh yeah, a chance to catch 5 to 10-pound Cutthroat or bigger.

PRO-GUIDES TECHNIQUES:
PRO-GUIDES primarily take the guest fly fishing, although if the
guest enjoys other methods this is not a problem. One of the most
important things we promote is Catch and Release, especially the
larger trout as this is the gene pool for trout in some of the trophy
lakes. Of course there is not a problem keeping a few smaller fish
and our guides will be happy to cook them up. If you happen to land
a trophy trout, our guides will have the camera ready for a quick
photo shoot.
